Upcycling an old shirt

 Added an applique patch, lace ribbon to the top of the collar.

I cut out the collar and then sewed a floral patch on the top, cut out sections to make it see through. It immediately made the shirt feel lighter.

The original shirt was plain like this.

Added the other floral applique...only realised now it's not perfectly symmetrical, but to be honest i prefer stuff that isn't aligned. Doubt anyone will notice except me. 

On the back I added a tea pot and cup patch. I just have to make something a bit quirky, as i hate anything boring and plain. 

All I have to do is finish the side slits. I may add the same ribbon that I added to the collar.
